Hi Tristan, Can you tell us about yourself?
I'm working with Joomla since the 1.0 version. Before starting to develop some extensions I was doing website and Joomla training session in France. During those training sessions I saw some missing feature in Joomla and some non user friendly stuff, so we decided with a partner in 2011 to create our own components. I love joomla because it's a powerful tool but accessible to final clients, if your're building your website in a smart way and with the good extensions. We started JoomUnited in 2012 and now I'm full time on it. I leave in the south of France, near from Perpignan.

Our company JoomUnited is administratively based in the United States. The whole company is composed by 12 people. The dev team is mainly based in Vietnam (6 developers), one is in India. We are actually providing extension for Joomla and WordPress at 50/50, we have both free and paid extensions.

Can you tell us about your extension My Maps location?
Yes, My Maps location is an extension usually called a "store locator" but you can locate locate almost everything, stores, restaurant, reseller... it's up to you!
You have several options to locate the nearby locations. Use the auto location or use filter like tags, categories, location names, regions. This extension is one of our best seller extension for Joomla.

In an upcoming version we have also included 2 additional themes that make the search process easier. A final version of those themes will comes in the 2 upcoming weeks. Preview is available here:

Are you going to the Joomla! World Conference?
I'm not going personally @ the JWC as we moved a lot this year to various events about Joomla, Web and WordPress too. The My Maps location developer (Guanio) is going to the conference as he's India based.
